Steel The Scene was formed in 1997 & has been at the forefront of scenic production taking on an extensive range of contracts, supplying immaculately finished items for an extensive range of conference, theatre, opera, TV & live event projects.

We offer a personal service & are specialists in tailoring products to client needs, producing goods and services that meet and exceed expectations. We are flexible and are able to design, manufacture, transport and install around the world.

When a project demands we are enthusiastic contributors to the design process & can help take a challenging concept to spectacular reality.

Dependant on the contract size we are able to call upon additional labour from a long established group of highly motivated and experienced freelancers. This includes carpenters, engineers, fabricators, scenic artists & electricians who are fully conversant with the high standards and good working practices that we & our clients expect.

Health & Safety: We are CHAS accredited & all of our fulltime staff have completed Safety Passport training (SPA) & are certified for PASMA, IPAF & Ladders.

Many of our regular freelancers have also attended these training courses alongside us & we continue to encourage all of them to do so.
