BACKGROUND

A touring version of the original set, the challenge was to make a structural staircase 12 meters long and 6 meters high, but in reasonable sized pieces for touring. It also had to change height, and anti-rake to suit different venues.
The Steel the Scene team along with Capita Symonds structural engineers, worked out a viable solution, the result was impressive.
