BACKGROUND

Steel The Scene were delighted to be involved with Datalinx in the development of a practical solution for housing Dunlop’s RFID tyre tracking system, currently in use in the British Touring Car Championship.

Incorporating the electronics and batteries was the easy bit, making it durable enough to survive out in the pit lane, with touring cars running past them was the challenge.
